
Steve Marusich, Pastor
Steve hails from Montgomery, Alabama and is a graduate of both Auburn University and Covenant Seminary. While at Covenant, he met his wife, Kelly (an Indy girl, born and raised). Together they have three grown children. Steve worked as an RUF Campus Minister at both Texas A&M and the University of Maryland. He has pastored churches in College Park, Maryland and Boston, Massachusetts. He’s also been a PE teacher, car salesman, waiter, and pool cleaner. Steve loves books, movies, and comics, and watches a lot Auburn football and international soccer. His current obsession is Brazilian Jujitsu.

Steve Fisher, Elder
Steve is married to Kathy. They are both Indiana natives and graduates of Purdue University (Engineering). They have four adult children and two grandchildren. Steve is a retired mechanical engineer after 40 years with Rolls Royce. Kathy teaches GED classes at a local women’s prison. They are both fans of sci-fi and fantasy fiction in print and onscreen, and Kathy is an avid true crime podcast fan.

Mike Watkins, Elder
Mike is married with four children. He met and married his wife Christie while they were students at Purdue University. Mike currently applies his chemistry training in the research labs of a large Central Indiana pharmaceutical company and his wife applies her engineering skills toward pedagogical problem solving as she homeschools their four children. As a family they enjoy learning about different cultures and traveling the world. While traveling, they like to explore other cultures through the local cuisine. Mike also enjoys spending time outdoors and working on home improvement projects. Mike is a dedicated long distance hiker and has covered hundreds of miles of trail in the Eastern US.

Rachel Jackson, Music Director
Rachel Jackson has been the Church Musician/Director since 2017. She is an active performer and educator in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Rachel has performed as soloist and collaborative pianist in numerous venues including in Ohio, Indiana, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, Maryland, and Vienna, Austria. In the Fall of 2020, Rachel was appointed the position of Lecturer of Piano at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana where she serves on faculty as the Director of Piano Studies. She teaches both class and applied piano as well as Keyboard Literature and Piano Pedagogy. She maintains an in-home studio of more than 25 private students. Her students have won local and international competitions and been accepted into collegiate level music programs on scholarship. She holds a Master of Music degree in performance from Butler University and Bachelor of Music degree in performance and business minor, graduating with highest honors, from Wright State University.
