Biblical Counseling … for the Community … for Free

The Bible teaches that God has given us everything for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).  Many in our community are struggling with troubled marriages and parenting issues; others are gripped by anger, while others are depressed or wrestling with worry.

If you are looking for counseling help, we welcome you to contact Trinity Church’s Biblical Counseling Ministry (317-852-5554).  Our counseling ministry is made available to the community for free.  Our great resource is teaching and applying the Word of God to people’s lives, speaking the truth in love.  We believe God has given the answers through His sufficient Word, the Bible.

What will we ask from you?  One, we will ask that you come with a learner’s spirit.  That means that you are teachable; you recognize that there are problems that you need help on and are willing to hear what God’s Word has to say.  Second, is a willingness to do homework.  Yes, homework!  We will assign specific assignments to help you throughout the week directly related to resolving the issues at hand.  Third, we will ask you to commit for a period of counseling sessions recommended by the counselor.  Recognize that you did not get into the situation that you are in overnight.  We want to work with you in seeing godly principles transform your life.  God’s Word gives us the confidence and assurance that those He began a good work in, He will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.  We believe God can and will work in your life for His glory and your blessing!

If you are interested in biblical counseling, please contact the church to make an appointment.  You will need to complete a Personal Data Sheet (available at the Church Office) and return it to the church at least one week before your appointment.  Trinity is also able to provide Pre-Marital Counseling for couples looking to get married and starting their life together on a solid foundation.
